Hull are reported to be trying to hijack Portsmouth's bid to appoint Steve Cotterill as their new manager. Hull want to have a new manager in charge at the KC Stadium by the middle of next week. Hull have already held talks with Cotterill according to sources in the north. Cotterill is one of the favourite candidates to fill the manager's post at the KC Stadium along with Paul Hart.
